'Grateful': Putin Thanks PM Modi For Ideas to Settle Russia's Conflict With Ukraine

Moscow: Russian President Vlimir Putin is thankful to Prime Minister Modi for providing ideas to resolve Russia-Ukraine conflict, ongoing for nearly three years.

Speaking at an event, Putin was asked about PM Modi's previous remark that "this should t be an era of war," to which he replied, "As for solving most acute crisis, we are very thankful and have great respect for ideas of His Excellency Prime Minister Modi."

Putin also shared that PM Modi has expressed his concerns multiple times regarding ongoing conflict and has put forward ideas to help settle issue. He ded, "He expressed his concerns about conflicts in Ukraine as well and proposed his ideas on how to settle conflicts."

PM Modi To Resolve Russia-Ukraine Conflict?

With strong India-Russia relationship in mind, Putin ackwledged, "We have thought about those ideas and are thankful for his intervention."

Earlier, PM Modi was invited by Putin to attend BRICS Summit in Kazan, where y held talks, with Russia-Ukraine war being a central topic. Modi said, "We are in constant touch on issue of ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine."

Expressing India's commitment to peace, Modi told President Putin, “We fully support early return of peace and stability.” Emphasizing humanity, he also stated, "All our efforts give priority to humanity; India is rey to provide all possible cooperation in times to come."
