Greek minister hails 'beginning' of tourism return

Greece will introduce vaccination certificates and accept jabs not yet used in rest of European Union, Tourism Minister Harry oharis announced on Thursday.

oharis told journalists that country will be rey for vaccination certificate from June 1st.

Greece has been under coronavirus-related restrictions since early November but has grually begun easing measures as it gears up for vital summer tourist season.

Tourism is a major revenue source for Greece, and government is hoping international visitors will help bolster its ailing economy.
