In an exclusive interview with BBC, Thunberg also said that world should learn from global health crisis and treat climate crisis with same level of ‘urgency’ as COVID-19 pandemic. Since originating from China in December 2019, vel coronavirus has swept most parts of world and has w infected over 8.5 million people in total. 17-year-old ted that world leers are taking precautionary measures to curb drastic spre of COVID-19 “with necessary force”.
Ackwledging ongoing crisis and people taking a stand to injustice, Greta Thunberg said that “people are starting to realise that we cant keep looking away from se things", and ded, "we cant keep sweeping se injustices under carpet". 'We need to stand united'
Earlier this month, Greta Thunberg h said that America's struggle against racial discrimination after death of George Floyd is part of fight against climate change and social justice that unites everyone toger. In an interview with an international media outlet, Thunberg said that world needs to stand ‘united’ and remember that fight for social justice, environmental justice, racial justice and climate justice is same fight. 17-year-old activist is kwn for castigating world leers for ir inaction on climate crisis. While speaking at launch of a crowdfunding campaign to buy medical supplies and provide telemedicine services to residents in Brazil’s Amazon rainforest, she said that she h widened her mess.
