Greta Thunberg, 16-year-old Swedish activist, led a protest on climate change outside  White House on September 13. massive protest around White House saw attendance of mostly school children. y called for immediate action from world’s governments to halt global warming, reduce fossil fuel consumption and avert environmental catastrophe.

Several onlookers meanwhile shouted, "Thank you, Greta!" "We're all here for you — and climate!" After protesters marched around White House, Greta Thunberg delivered a short speech, to tell crowd she's grateful for ir support and proud of m for coming to march.

"Never give up," she told protesters, ding, "See you next week, on September 20."

Greta Thunberg plans to le protest ahe of next week's U.N. Climate Action Summit in New York City. She will dress U.N. Climate Action Summit on Sept. 23. Before that, Greta Thunberg will be organizing an international protest in New York City on September 20. protest is likely to be large, as New York City's public school system, supporting protest, anunced that children who wanted to skip school to participate in protest are more than welcome to. Moreover, Amnesty International Secretary General Kumi Naidoo has written a letter to more than 30,000 schools, urging m to allow ir students to join climate strikes.

For that, she makes sure to le by example, to set course of exemplary behaviour. Last month, young activist crossed Atlantic Ocean in a solar-powered boat, landing in New York City on August 28.
