The transformation took more than 12 hours

She has several posts on her Instagram handle that show the enormous efforts that went into donning the get-up.

On one occasion, she came dress as Shrek along with her husband. Shrek, an ogre is an animated movie character of yesteryears who is hated by all in the movie for his odd appearances and is mostly used to living alone, but he finds a girl who becomes an ogre too.

Klum has also donned the get-up of Indian fiery goddess Kali, and we must say, she nailed it

Halloween Origins

Halloween is a holiday celebrated across the world on October 31 every year. The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain in Europe when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. In the eighth century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honour all saints. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats.
