The people belonging to the Hindu society in Bangladesh will hold a big demonstration in the capital city Dhaka seeking fulfilment of their 8 points demands.

Dhaka: Hindu community in Banglesh is set to hold a massive demonstration at Central Shahid Park in Dhaka tomorrow, demanding justice and equality for marginalized mirity group. protest, scheduled for 3 pm, will see members of Hindu society unite to seek action from government on ir eight-point demand.
demands include prompt hearings of cases of atrocities on mirities, equate compensation and rehabilitation to victims, implementation of Mirity Protection Act, and formation of a Ministry of Mirity Affairs. protesters are also calling for upgring of Hindu welfare trusts to a Hindu foundation, proper implementation of Property Recovery, Protection Act, and Transfer of Assigned Property Act.

Furrmore, Hindu community is demanding construction of places of worship for mirities in all educational institutions and allocation of prayer rooms in every hostel. y are also seeking modernization of Sanskrit and a shift in education board, as well as a five-day holiday on Durga Puja.
