With two weeks of new locally-transmitted cases of new coronavirus, Hong Kong authorities are increasingly talking about lifting some of ir social distancing measures and returning students to school.

Lam called on people to be "patient" and said an anuncement will come "as soon as possible." That could be as soon as later in day, after weekly meeting of Executive Council.
Local media have reported that a lifting of a restriction on more than four people at a social garing is imminent, and that schools might restart with classes staggered from late May.

Lam also weighed in again over political controversy heating up at local legislature - ar showdown between pro-democracy and establishment camps at Legislative Council.
It's over China's criticism of lawmaker Dennis Kwok and its efforts to replace him with a pro-establishment figure.

Lam asked for "some Legislative Council members to mend ir ways."
