Less than a hundred elderly protesters gathered in New Town Plaza in Sha Tin, Hong Kong, on Saturday to show support for retailers in favour of the ongoing protests.
Protesters in the territory have created an economic resistance method called "yellow economy circle", whereby protest supporters support shops - the "yellow economy" - that claim their political stance as pro-protest.

Speaking about the Saturday protest in Sha Tin, rally co-organiser Ken Wong said the goal of the demonstration was to promote the "yellow economy" and to disparage others from buying products made in China.
At the event, protesters could be seen putting notes on the walls of New Town Plaza and displaying banners, informing people which shops were pro and anti-protest.
