'Howdy, Modi!': Billboards' surge in Texas to welcome PM Modi

The state of Houston, US gears up its preparations to welcome the Indian PM. The 'Howdy, Modi!' event is all set to be held in Houston on September 22, 2019

With just three days to go for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to United States, state of Texas gears up to welcome Indian PM. 'Howdy, Modi!' event, which is all set to be held in Houston on September 22 will be PM Modi's third major dress to Indian-American community after he became Prime Minister in 2014. city has been set up with huge billboards to welcome Indian Prime Minister. One billboard in Houston re, "India House Houston welcomes Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi." Ar one re, "India is Houston's fourth-largest tring partner. Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston welcomes Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi."

PM Modi To Visit Houston On September 22

More than 50,000 Indian-Americans from across US have alrey registered for September 22 'Howdy, Modi! Shared Dreams, Bright Futures' event to be held at NRG Stium in Houston. Earlier, President of United States, Donald Trump h confirmed his presence through a press release at 'Howdy, Modi!' event alongside Indian PM.  Twitter p of Texas India Forum, host of 'Howdy, Modi!' community summit in Houston, has been sharing videos of people across states who are excited to welcome Indian PM. India's External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar also spoke about PM Modi's visit to US and said that India-US relations have come a long way.

PM Asks People To Share Ideas For His dress

For his dress to mega Indian diaspora in Houston, PM Modi has urged people to share ir ideas which he would refer to in his speech during his remarks, through a tweet on September 16. He also attributed decision of President of United States, Donald Trump, to join event alongside him to 'strong friendship' between two countries.
