Hundreds of Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip mourned the death of General Qassem Soleimani after he was killed in a US-orchestrated airstrike on January 2

After Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp's (IRGC) General Qassem Soleimani was killed by a US airstrike in Iraq, hundreds of Palestinians living in Gaza Strip mourned General's death. According to reports, mourning Palestinians were joined by leers of Hamas Group and Palestinian Islamic jih faction at a tent put up in hour of Qassem Soleimani.
' US and Zionist Occupation responsible'
National flags of Israel and United States of America were thrown on ground so that y could be trampled by people who were entering tent. A representative of Islamist Hamas group said y held United States and Zionist Occupation responsible for attack, ding that y were loyal to all those stood in support of resistance and with Palestine.

White House and Pentagon confirmed death of Iran's powerful military he by saying that attack was directed by US President Donald Trump on January 3. To assert furr, US President posted a picture of country's flag on his Twitter account.
"General Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout region. General Soleimani and his Quds Force were responsible for deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and wounding of thousands more," Department of Defense said.

Who was Qassem Soleimani?
Soleimani's IRGC, which was designated as a foreign terrorist organisation by Donald Trump in April last year, backed Syrian President Bashar al-Ass in 2011 civil war and to battle Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIS). Soleimani was rumoured to be de several times, including in a 2006 aeroplane crash that killed or military officials in rthwestern Iran and following a 2012 bombing in Damascus that killed top aides of Ass.
Rumours circulated in vember 2015 that Soleimani was killed or seriously wounded leing forces loyal to Ass as y fought around Syria’s Aleppo.

Israel supports United States
Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has extended his support to US in aftermath of airstrike that killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani. Taking to Twitter, Netanyahu backed US and asserted that it has right of self-defence like Israel. Netanyahu ded that Soleimani was responsible for loss of American lives and or incent citizens. He also said that Iranian General was orchestrating more attacks.
