Hundreds turn out to protest Chile police violence

Hundreds of people gared in streets of Santiago on Friday to protest police violence but were met with tear gas and water cann trucks.

Authorities were seen attempting to disperse demonstrators roaming Chilean capital.

Ar large group of protesters massed at iconic Plaza Italia, scene for similar rallies during a year of anti-government protests which began in October 2019.

Chilean National Human Rights Institute said more than 450 people suffered eye dam from supposedly n-lethal projectiles fired by police during those street protests.
