In a video posted by a Facebook page Tourism top End, a hungry crocodile was seen snatching a fish right from angler's line. The video that has then gone viral clearly shows the hunger of the crocodile. The video that was captured at the river bank in Australia, shows a woman hooking a fish and trying to drag it out of water. Even as the lady tries hard to hook the big fish, a crocodile appears and before she could realise, it makes the crocodile his prey. The crocodile is seen swooping by the shore and snatching the fish. Frightened at the sight the two anglers run away, while the crocodile sits at the shore and gulps it's prey. After having it's meal the crocodile returns back to the water.
The incident however received hilarious responses from the netizens. One of them said that it was better that the crocodile ate the fish instead of those fishing, while another said that this is another reason to not go fishing. In another incident related to crocodile, the authorities in Mumbai appear to know that something big is lurking in the drain, and are armed with rope and stick ready to snare it. They goad the croc forward, and when it emerges, its true size is revealed, shocking just about everyone at the location. Netizens could not believe their eyes that a crocodile was found in what is generally considered the abode of rodents and toads. The incident occurred in Chiplun’s Dadar area and as per reports by the forest officials, took place on Friday, July 26, when Ratnagiri was swept by heavy rain leading to floods in the Vashishti River. The crocodile was suspected to have entered the town’s drainage system which was flooded due to the water overflow from the nearby river. The crocodile had been trapped in the drain struggling to escape, its rapid movement and the noises caused due to that made it come under the purview of the locals who then upon sighting the unwanted guest, alerted the fire brigade and the Forest Department.
