Hurricane Dorian hits the Bahamas, moving northeast up the Atlantic
Hurricane Dorian has now consumed the lives of 43 people, with the death toll rising from 30 and the NHC declaring the Dorian moving in a northeast direction.

Hurricane Dorian hits Bahamas
Hurricane Dorian developed as a tropical wave August 24, in Central Atlantic before becoming a hurricane on August 28. Bahamas has been severely damd by hurricane. Although it is categorised as 'Category 2' currently, it was assessed as 'Category 5' when it hit Bahamas. airport has been dilapidated, with commercial buildings battered. Many people are still on a lookout for ir family members and close ones.

PM Minnis on current scenario
Prime Minister of Bahamas Hubert Minnis recently spoke about general devastation Hurricane Dorian has caused. He stated that Hurricane has caused 'generational devastation'. PM furr tified that challenge right w is to make sure that displaced people find shelter, clothing and food. He asserted that it will be dealt with as 'quickly and aggressively' as possible. "We are in midst of a historic trdy. devastation is unprecedented and extensive. We are in midst of one of greatest national crises in our country’s history." He furr ded, " effort or resources will be held back.”
