ICC Lacks Credibility: Trump's NSA Pick Mike Waltz Condemns Netanyahu's Arrest Warrant

Washington: US Congressman Mike Waltz, who is also President-Elect Donald Trump ’s nominee for position of National Security visor, strongly criticized International Criminal Court's arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said that Israel has every right to defend its borders against "genocidal terrorists."

In a post on X, Waltz said that ICC has displayed its anti-Semitic bias by issuing warrant against Netanyahu.

ICC Issues Arrest Warrant Against Israeli PM Netanyahu

International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants on Thursday for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former defence minister and Hamas officials, accusing m of war crimes and crimes against humanity over ir 13-month war in Gaza and October 2023 attack on Israel respectively.

Netanyahu condemned arrest warrant against him, saying Israel rejects with disgust absurd and false actions.

In a statement released by his office, he said: re is nothing more just than war that Israel has been waging in Gaza.

decision turns Netanyahu and ors into internationally wanted suspects and is likely to furr isolate m and complicate efforts to negotiate a cease-fire to end fighting. But its practical implications could be limited since Israel and its major ally, United States, are not members of court and two of Hamas officials were killed in conflict.

Netanyahu and or Israeli leers have condemned ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan's request for warrants as disgraceful and antisemitic.
