As India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day on Monday, search engine Google has dedicated its doodle to honour the World's largest democracy.

As India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day on Monday, search engine Google has dedicated its doodle to hour World's largest democracy. Doodle, illustrated by Neethi, a Kerala-based guest artist, shows India celebrating 75 years of its Independence on August 15 with soaring kites symbolising country has achieved great heights. tradition of flying kites is t new on Independence Day. Indian revolutionaries once flew kites with slogans to protest British rule. Since n, recreational and competitive kite flying has become one of Independence Day’s most popular traditions.

Meanwhile, while sharing thoughts behind making of doodle, artist expressed his artwork depicts culture around kites- from craft of creating bright beautiful kites to cheerful experience of a community coming toger. "One of our fondest memories, -old tradition of kite-flying has been integral to Indian Independence Day festivities. vast expanse of sky brightly speckled with soaring kites is a colourful symbol of great heights we have achieved. GIF animation adds dynamism and brings doodle alive," he added.

Furr, explaining elements and symbols used in artwork, Krisha said that kites used in doodle represent colours of national flag while human illustration shows ir love and affection towards country.  "Kites are also an outlet for artistic expression- many of m carry trendy motifs or even social messs. I have drawn kites depicting our national colours, a mess of love and commemorating 75 years of Indian independence. y fly as high as skyscrapers, and birds and I'd like to believe sun!" he added.
