Russian President Vladimir Putin in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated him on the occasion of Independence Day.

Russian President Vlimir Putin in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated him on occasion of Independence Day. Stating that India enjoys a high authority in International Arena, letter res, "Your country rightfully takes pride in great achievements in ecomic, scientific, techlogical, cultural and or spheres".

US CONGRATULATES INDIA 

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo greeted  people of India on eve of country's Independence Day and said that over past two deces India-US friendship has flourished into a strategic partnership. He said that shared democratic values of two nations, strong people-to-people ties and commitment to ecomic growth have furr cemented relationship.

"Over past two deces, our friendship has flourished into a strategic partnership and we w cooperate on a range of important issues, from defense and counter-terrorism, to freedom of navigation and cutting-edge science, including in ," Pompeo said in a statement."As I said during my recent visit to India, United States and India are great democracies, global powers, and good friends. I wish people of India a joyful Independence Day," he said. 

PM MODI'S INDEPENDENCE DAY SPEECH 

Prime Minister dressed nation at Red Fort and highlighted important aspects like poverty and terrorism. He stated that government is dedicated towards development of country and anunced that BJP has decided to invest Rs 100 lakh crore on country's modern infrastructure.

He concluded his Independence Day dress by chanting 'Vande Mataram' and reciting National Anm.
