India Cancels 2 Trains to Bangladesh Amid Violent Protests
The Indian Govt has cancelled two trains to Bangladesh amid widespread protests over demands for an end to quota system in government jobs.

Kolkata/Dhaka: Amid the nationwide curfew in Bangladesh the Indian Railways cancelled the Kolkata-Dhaka Maitree Express on Saturday and the Bandhan Express between Kolkata and Khulna on Sunday, a Railway official said.
The cancellations come amid widespread violent protests in Bangladesh over demands for an end to a quota system in jobs in the country, affecting normal life and routine in several places.

India Cancels Trains to Bangladesh
Citing "unavoidable circumstances", an Eastern Railway official said that the 13108 Kolkata-Dhaka Maitree Express will remain cancelled on Saturday.
The services of 13129/13120 Kolkata-Khulna Bandhan Express will remain cancelled on Sunday "due to uncertainty in availability of rake", the official said.

Indian Commission Issues Advisory For Indian Citizens
The Indian High Commission's advisory remains in effect, urging Indian citizens to exercise caution and prioritize their safety amid ongoing protests in Bangladesh. The advisory says Indian citizens to avoid going out and participating in the violent protests.
