Hindu-Sikhs on One Side, Khalistani on Other: Chandra Arya Says Politician's Misleading Canadians
The Canadian MP said that politicians are portraying Hindus and Sikhs as opposing sides regarding the attack on the temple by Khalistani extremists.

Toronto [Cana]: Chandra Arya, Member of Parliament of Cana in a statement condemned attack by Khalistani extremists on Hindu devotees at Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton that took place on vember 3 and criticized politicians for misrepresenting incident as a Hindu-Sikh issue. Arya argued this framing is misleing and divisive.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, Arya wrote: "On behalf of Hindu-Canians and vast majority of Sikh-Canians, I again strongly condemn attack by Khalistani extremists on Hindu devotees at Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton.

Politicians are deliberately avoiding recognizing and mentioning Khalistanis as responsible for this attack or are shifting blame to or entities. y are misleing Canians by framing this as an issue between Hindus and Sikhs. This is t true."
He said that throughout history, Hindus and Sikhs have been connected through family relationships and shared social and cultural ties and urged both communities to prove politicians wrong. Hindus and Sikhs have been united throughout history, are united today, and will continue to be united in future. We, as Hindus and Sikhs, will t and should t allow vested interests to divide us for ir political gain," ded post.

Arya's post also highlighted influence Khalistani supporters wield over certain Canian Gurudwaras, quoting Sikh community leer and former British Columbia Premier Ujjal Dosanjh.

According to Arya, Dosanjh ted that a "silent majority of Sikhs do t want to have anything to do with Khalistan and that y just don't speak out because y're afraid of violence and violent repercussions. Dosanjh also mentioned that many Gurudwaras in Cana are controlled by Khalistani supporters."
Arya furr said that he understands that fear may prevent silent majority of Sikhs from speaking out in Gurudwaras, but urged m to use power of voting over which politicians get elected.
"Due to deliberate actions of some politicians and influence of Khalistanis, Canians w mistakenly equate Khalistanis with Sikhs. Hindus and Sikhs alike must educate Canians that we stand united in our fight against Khalistani extremists and ir political backers," ded post.

Canian MP called on Hindu and Sikh brors and sisters across Cana to do two things: First, let politicians kw that Hindus and vast majority of Sikh-Canians stand united on one side, while Khalistanis are on or.
Second, and importantly, I call on all Hindus and Sikhs in Cana to urge community leers t to provide a platform at any of our events or temples to politicians unless y publicly recognize and expressly condemn Khalistani extremism.

Khalistani extremists attacked Hindu-Canian devotees within Hindu Sabha temple premises in Brampton, Cana, on vember 3.
Following attacks, Hindu Canian Foundation, a n-profit organisation working for Hindu community in Cana, shared a video of attack on temple and said that Khalistani terrorists attacked kids and women.PM Modi in a post on X also condemned attack. Indian High Commission in Cana condemned "violent disruption" by 'anti-India' elements outside a consular camp.
