Jaishankar underlined 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) as a pivotal moment for terrorism in India.

2. He emphasized India's commitment to delegitimising and counter-terrorism, stating that mission remains unrelenting.
3. Jaishankar highlighted evolving dynamics of terrorism influenced by technological vancements.
4. External Affairs Minister mentioned multifaceted nature of counterterrorism efforts, dressing challenges to capabilities and imagination.
5. He expressed India's interest in contributing to security of ors, both in immediate neighbourhood and on a broer scale.
6. Counterterrorism efforts could extend beyond tritional security measures to encompass financial, health, and energy assistance, particularly for Global South.
7. Jaishankar pointed out that terrorism started at moment of India's independence when raiders came from across Pakistan.
8. He identified Mumbai 26/11 attacks as a tipping point, emphasizing need for a robust response to cross-border terrorism.
9. Jaishankar rejected notion of turning or cheek and emphasized importance of responding and imposing a cost on those practising cross-border terrorism.
10. India's relations with Pakistan have been strained, with India consistently raising concerns about Pakistan's support for cross-border terrorism and asserting that terror and talks cannot go toger.
