group is protesting against what y say is a lack of health care for ir community from federal government during pandemic, and in opposition to infrastructure projects y say threatens ir land.

After closing ro for over 24 hours Indigeus activists on Tuesday opened it to trucks parked for miles.

Indigeus protesters are camping out next ir roblock as y prepare to continue to block trucks carrying produce and or goods from Pará State for shipment out of region.

Indigeus activists say y will keep highway closed until federal authorities show up and negotiate with m over issues y say have been igred by Bolsonaro ministration.

Kayapo live in several reserves in Pará State, amidst virgin rainforest that is under increasing threat by ranchers, loggers and gold miners.
