According to reports, the product is a thin sheet that will make things invisible to naked human eyes, by bending the light around a target to make it seemingly disappear. This light can be in the visible spectrum, ultraviolet, infrared, or shortwave infrared light. That is why the company is calling it a ‘broadband invisibility cloak.’  It is similar to the invisibility cloak as described in JK Rowling's fictional series Harry Potter — a thin sheet that can bend light, making the person or thing standing behind it virtually invisible.
