Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei said the country has delivered 'slap in face' to the United States after Tehran launched attacks on American bases in Iraq.

Iran’s Supreme Leer Ayatollah Khamenei said country has delivered 'slap in face' to United States after Tehran launched attacks on American bases in Iraq. Khamenei, in a televised dress, said that US cut off Soleimani’s hand so Iran, in response, will cut ir legs off in region.
Khamenei targeted Israel, a key ally of US in region, saying Iran’s main enemies include Washington and Zionist regime. Supreme Leer said military action is eugh to end “corrupt presence” of US in region. 80-year-old religious leer was furious after killing of top military leer Qassem Soleimani and h vowed to exact revenge “for criminals who bloodied ir foul hands with his blood”.

latest attack on US bases by Iran has furr escalated tension in region. Just before Soleimani was buried in Kerman, Iran launched more than a dozen ballistic missiles against US military and coalition forces in Iraq. US has t revealed number of casualties yet but Iran’s local media reports claim that around 80 people have been killed in attacks.

US President Donald Trump surprisingly said “All is well”, ding he will be making a statement on Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, Pentagon said that bases were alrey on high alert due to Iran’s indication to attack US forces in region. “As we evaluate situation and our response, we will take all necessary measures to protect and defend US personnel, partners, and allies in region,” said Pentagon in a statement.

Hours after attack, Chief of Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Mohamm Bagheri warned US that Tehran will react with “stronger, more crushing, and broer” response if it tries any new “evil act”. Iranian Foreign Minister Jav Zarif said that Tehran took “proportionate measures” in self-defence under Article 51 of United Nations Charter.
