New Delhi: Amid escalating tensions in West Asia, social media platform X on Sunday suspended Hebrew-language account of Iran's Supreme Leer Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, hours after it was created. Notably, Hebrew is a language that is spoken in Israel.
This comes after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a stern warning against Israel following recent airstrikes by Tel Aviv which claimed lives of four Iranian soldiers and damage to ir military sites.

Currently, @Khamenei_Heb account appears suspended for violating X’s rules.
As Israel's conflict with Iran-backed militant groups Hezbollah and Hamas refuses to die down, Khamenei on his now-suspended account @Khamenei_Heb wrote, “ Zionist regime me a mistake. It erred in its calculations on Iran. We will cause it to understand what kind of strength, ability, initiative, and will Iranian nation has.”

Khamenei's Account Suspended After Two Posts
His account was suspended just after he posted two tweets. His first tweet in his Hebrew-language account on Saturday, reing, "In name of Allah merciful," came hours after Israel conducted “precise strikes” on Iran.
Following dely attack by Israel on parts of Iran on October 26, Khamenei met family members of soldiers killed in attack.

Iranian leer also posted on his official account, issuing strong message against Jewish state.
Referring to latest strike by Tel Aviv, he tweeted, " Zionist regime me a wrong move two nights ago. We must make m understand power, determination, and initiative of Iranian people."

"Zionists are making a miscalculation with respect to Iran. y don't know Iran. y still haven't been able to correctly understand power, initiative, and determination of Iranian people. We need to make m understand se things," he furr tweed on his old account.
" actions of Zionist regime in #Gaza and Lebanon are among most horrific #warcrimes. War is difficult, but it has its rules and laws, and limits. Just because one side is fighting anor, it doesn’t mean that all of se limits should be trampled on," he furr ded.
Why Israel Attacked Iran Recently
recent Israeli attack on Iran comes weeks after Tehran launched a massive missile barrage on Jewish state on October 1, most of which were shot down by Israeli air defenses with help of US forces. October 1 attack was in retaliation to a series of Israeli attacks against Iran’s Lebanese proxy Hezbollah, killing its leer Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike and n sending troops across border into sourn Lebanon. Israel has also battered Lebanon with aerial strikes which it says are aimed at dismantling Hezbollah, but which have claimed thousands of lives.
