Pyongyang: South Korean intelligence briefings have claimed that Kim Jong Un is preparing his teenage daughter, Kim Ju Ae, to become the next leader of North Korea. The National Intelligence Service (NIS) reported that Kim Ju Ae, believed to be around 12 years old, is being groomed as the heir apparent to continue the Kim family's hereditary rule.

Kim Ju Ae has increasingly appeared with her father at high-profile military events, underscoring her role in the succession plan. South Korean MP Lee Seong-kweun highlighted that Kim Ju Ae’s public engagements and the title “great person of guidance” suggest she is being primed for leadership.
