Israel Defense Force gives DIY make-up tutorial for Halloween

Halloween celebrations were in full swing globally, and Israel Defense Forces posted a tutorial video for a last-minute Halloween costume on October 31. IDF official, Corporal Diana is seen in the clip describing steps for 'Camouflage paint tutorial'. She uses a colour pallet of dark green, black and how an army costume will look better with the proper blending of the colours. Not only that, Diana points out the 'common mistake' that people do with camouflage make-up and leave out the ears and neck but it is important to cover them in order to blend with the environment.

'Beauty is beauty'

This was not the first time that IDF took part in the social media trends, and posted a video on Twitter in relation to the same. Netizens reacted to the tutorial saying 'beauty is beauty' even if it is with the camouflage make-up. Some of the Twitter users also appreciated the IDF and posted that they 'love them'. Some of them even posted their own make-up for the Halloween costume and how they did it while others recalled the years they dressed up as army personnel. One internet user also reminded that for an even better costume they should not forget hands and forearms.

IDF celebrated Friends' 25 years

Israel Defense Forces celebrated the popular sitcom, Friends' 25th anniversary by posting a video in which the soldiers were seen enacting the famous theme song. The video was posted on September 23 with the modified title and called IDF.R.I.E.N.D.S which breaks down to Israel Defense Forces, friends. The soldiers also believe that there was no better way to celebrate the occasion. The 15-second clip has crossed more than 2 million views in less than 24 hours.
