New Delhi: In the early hours of Friday, Israel launched airstrikes on Hezbollah strongholds in Beirut, making its first attack in nearly a week.
Reports suggest at least 10 strikes targeted Beirut’s southern suburbs at dawn, leaving dozens injured from incidents spanning Thursday night into Friday morning.

Israeli warplanes reportedly conducted raids on several locations, including Ghobeiry, Al-Kafaat, the Sayyed Hadi Highway, the area surrounding the Al-Mujtaba Complex, and the old airport road.
The strikes come a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held discussions with visiting U.S. officials regarding a potential ceasefire to the escalating conflict in Lebanon.

As per reports, explosions and smoke across the suburbs of Beirut was captured and several buildings were leveled and fires ignited.
In recent weeks, the Israeli military has intensified airstrikes on southern Beirut and other parts of the capital, as well as across Lebanon.
