Israel to evict Ukrainian refugees from state-sponsored accommodation
Israel which previously provided public housing for 100 people notified Ukrainian refugees to move out and look for housing on their own.

While this arrangement h continued unchanged up until w, last week, Israeli government informed refugees that y are being evicted and should look for living solutions on ir own, local Israeli media reported on Wednesday.
Since beginning of war in Ukraine, 15,000 n-Jewish refugees have fled conflict to Israel. Some of m initially stayed with relatives or acquaintances, but as months of war dragged on, y h to look for alternative living arrangements.

Responding to queries over decision to evict Ukrainian refugees, Israeli Welfare Ministry stated, " contract with one of operators hosting war refugees has come to an end, and tenants who are unable to finance accommodation due to a medical or physical condition have been offered alternatives in a hotel. period of state-sponsored residence for war refugees was initially limited to three months and has been extended time and time again."

Israel t only country to cut aid to Ukrainian refugees
Israel isn’t only country that’s cutting back on aid to Ukrainian refugees. On Thursday, Poland's parliament voted in favour of amendments that require Ukrainians to partially pay for ir accommodation in country, starting in March, while it has also tightened system of benefits for those arriving from neighbouring state.
Ukrainian refugees in Germany have faced difficulties in finding rented accommodation, rent of which is strictly regulated by law: y have to be rey to be evicted or pay fines. However, Polish press reported that Ukrainians who fled war to Poland will be able to receive food packs for winter holidays. packs will be distributed by volunteers of Speak Up Foundation in Polish city of Swiujscie.
