Israel to reopen international travel for fully vaccinated tourists from May 23
Israel allows vaccinated foreign tourists to visit the country from May 2021 Tourism Minister Orit Farkash-Hacohen has made the announcement on Twitter.

Israel government on April 13 anunced that vaccinated foreign tourists can visit country from May 2021. country had closed international borders due to COVID-19 pandemic for more than a year. Tourism Minister Orit Farkash-Hacohen anunced news on Twitter that country w allows vaccinated people to enter Afghanistan.
Israel reopens for tourists
Tourism Minister said that limited tourist tourists will be allowed to visit Israel from May 23. individual visitors will be allowed at a later st. visitors have to undergo a coronavirus test before boarding flight to Israel. tourists must present a serological test to prove that y have been iculated with COVID-19 vaccine.

Israel faced an ecomic setback due to COVID-19 pandemic. Most sectors of ecomy were allowed to reopen after y carried out vaccination program in recent months. tourism industry was badly affected due to coronavirus as tourists were t allowed to visit country.
After opening ecomy, it is time to allow tourism in a careful and calculated manner.
Yosi Fattal, head of Israel Incoming Tour Operators Association said that industry has welcomed government's decision. He has raised concern over speed and implementation of decision. He said that y fail to understand why it is so much easier for a vaccinated Israeli who has taken same vaccine as a tourist to travel same country. He called on government to adopt international standards for recognizing vaccines and t rely on serological tests.

According to Johns Hopkins University, Israel has reported 836,158 COVID-19 cases and 6,304 people have lost ir lives due to virus. In Israel, 10,279,751 people have received first dose of vaccine while 4,950,250 people have been fully vaccinated. After launch of vaccination drive, COVID-19 cases and deaths have seen a fall in Afghanistan.
