Israeli Strike in Northern Gaza Kills at Least 30, Dozens Injured

Beirut: An Israeli strike early Sunday in Beit Lahiya in norrn Gaza killed at least 30 people, director of a hospital re told Associated Press.

Hosam Abu Safiya with Kamal wan hospital in Beit Lahiya also said re were dozens of wounded, and ors likely were still under rubble.

Fleeing residents told AP that houses were hit.

An Israeli military statement earlier Sunday said it conducted several strikes on “terrorist targets” in Beit Lahiya. It said efforts to evacuate civilian population from “active war zone” re continued.
