Israel's extensive military operations in the occupied West Bank continued into a second day on Thursday, with the Israeli military reporting the deaths of five terrorists, including a prominent commander.

The raids, which began before dawn on Wednesday, have resulted in a rising death toll. According to Wafa, the Palestinian Authority’s official news agency, 17 people have been killed in the ongoing operations. On Thursday, the Israeli military intensified its actions, conducting raids across the city of Tulkarm and closing off entrances to the nearby Nur Shams neighborhood.
