Naidu praised movie for spreading mess surrounding farmers and vills while congratulating team for success. lead actor was left overwhelmed with words of praise, calling it a ‘huge hour’ and that he was inspired to make more movies like recent release with leader's views.

Vice President Naidu on Tuesday took to Twitter on Tuesday to share that he watched ‘Maharshi’ with his family and termed it as a movie, set in rural areas, that sends mess of protecting farmers and farming sector. Impressed by movie, he added that everyone should go and watch film. Vice President also lauded makers for bringing out richness of vills. He also congratulated Mahesh Babu for his performance, Vamsi Paidipally for his direction and entire ‘Maharshi’ team for ir work.
According to reports, ‘Maharshi’ has grossed over Rs 50 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone, while it is being said that it has collected over Rs 100 crore worldwide.

Mahesh Babu replied, “Sir.. This is such an hour for me personally & our whole team... it can't get better than this. Thank you Sir, your words have inspired us to keep doing more films like "Maharshi".. on behalf of Team Maharshi... humbled, Sir."

Even Mahesh Babu’s wife, actress Namrata Shirodkar expressed her delight by sharing translated screenshots of Naidu’s Telugu mess.
