According to a scientist, Dario Caro from Department of Environmental Science from Aarhus University in Denmark, and health researchers Bru Frediani and Dr. Edoardo Conticini from University of Siena in Italy, several underlying factors such as prolonged exposure to air pollution particulate, weakened immunity system of patients with COVID-19 in region.
