It's start of Martyr Soleimani operation: Islamic Revolutionary Guards warn US
The IRGC called the recent attack on US the start of its 'Martyr Soleimani' operation. They also warned US and said that further responses will be on the way.

In recent series of events, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for firing a total of 15 missiles at two US-Iraqi airbases on January 8. IRGC furr warned US and reportedly said in a statement that furr responses will be on way in response to Soleimani strike last week. y reportedly called recent attack start of its 'Martyr Soleimani' operation. According to an international media outlet, out of 15 missiles that were launched, ten hit Ayn al-As base in western Iraq and anor facility in Erbil. One missile also struck Taji air base near Baghd while four fell out of sky.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohamm Jav Zarif also took to Twitter and said that government concluded proportionate measures in 'self-defence'. However, US President Donald Trump in his recent tweet said that 'All is well' and assessment of casualties and damages is taking place. tensions between US-Iran take root in Trump’s decision in May 2018 to withdraw US from Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers, struck under his predecessor.
