Japanese authorities are looking for crew members of a rth Korean fishing boat that sunk near Japan’s rthwestern coast. According to officials, four patrol vessels and two aircraft went searching for crew members of capsized boat on October 16. rth Korean boats often enter Yamatotai area, off Japan's rrn coast of to Peninsula, kwn for its rich fishing grounds.

Ar rth Korean boat informed Japanese fishing office about incident after which coast guard patrol boats and Japanese fisheries started search operation. re has t been any information regarding size of crew or reason behind accident. It is also t clear wher boat h entered Japan’s exclusive ecomic zone (EEZ), where countries have exclusive rights to marine resources. Japan has disputes over boundaries of EEZ with Korea, Russia and China.

Earlier in October, Japanese authorities rescued rth Korean fishermen after ir vessel collided with a Japanese fisheries boat, and sank. At first, y thought re were 20 fishermen who were thrown into sea after accident, but later y rescued 60 fishermen. officials claimed that y didn’t arrest any of fishermen as re was way to establish illegality after boat sank.
