While dressing United Nations General Assembly, actor Jason Momoa delivered a powerful speech on behalf of island nations of world that are drowning due to effects of climate change. He talks about impacts of ocean plastic pollution, rising sea level and how humans are willing to force disharmony with natural balance of world. He furr called humanity a disease that is infecting planet. Momoa has been outspoken about effects of climate change on numerous occasions and claims that human species need earth to survive and t or way around. 

'Inherent hypocrisy'

After his six-minute speech, netizens point out difference between how Hawaii-born actor's speech has been received to way Greta Thunberg's activism has. 16-year-old Swedish Climate activist gave a scorching speech at UN on September 30. She did t try to be nice when she confronted world leers since she attacked industrial capitalism and its ethos of politics after which she became subject of bullying. She was reportedly accused of emotionality, hysteria and was given or stereotypical feminine labels that are tritionally used to silence women's public speech. Many netizens defend Thunberg while pointing out inherent hypocrisy.

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg drew attention of people across world after her powerful speech at United Nations on climate change on September 23 and winning Right Livelihood Award, also kwn as 'Alternative ble Prize'. Thunberg, a 16-year old student from Stockholm, first me helines when she sat outside Swedish Parliament and called it ‘School strike for climate’ in Swedish. She skipped school for it where attendance is compulsory for a student her . On September 26, Thunberg took to social media to dress criticism she got after speech at UN. “Here we go again... As you may have ticed, haters are as active as ever - going after me, my looks, my clos, my behavior, and my differences. y come up with every thinkable lie and conspiracy ory. It seems y will cross every possible line to avert focus since y are so desperate t to talk about climate and ecological crisis.”
