K-pop star Sulli passes away at 25, fans pin blame on cyber-bullying

Popular K-pop star Sulli passed away at the age of 25 on Monday, October 14. As per media reports, she was found dead at her Seoul residence.

Popular K-pop star Sulli passed away at the age of 25 on Monday, October 14. As per media reports, Sulli's manager found her dead at her Seoul residence and alerted the police. Cops are currently investigating the cause of her death. They reportedly speculate that she committed suicide suffering prolonged depression. However, no note was recovered during the investigations.

Sulli, whose real name was Choi Jin-ri began her career as a child actor in 2005. She shot to fame as one of the members of the K-pop girl band f(x). The star paused working until 2014 when she complained of severe cyber-bullying. Sulli even quit the band, the next year. She again came into limelight for playing the lead in the 2017 film 'Real'. Soon after the news of her demise came out, fans took no time in mourning the loss and bidding farewell to her.

Amber Liu mourns Sulli's death

Sulli's former f(x) bandmate, Amber Liu, has posted her shock at what's happened. She took to Twitter and said that due to recent events she'll be putting on hold any upcoming activities.

Fans condemn cyber-bullying, grieves the loss

The actor-singer's battle with internet bullying was no secret and fans knew how Sulli had been a victim of it. Following her demise, many of them took to social media to condemn such acts and grieved the loss.
