Kareena Kapoor Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Among Others To The Join The Netflix Cast Of 'Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle'
As per media reports, Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff will lend their voices to characters in 'Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle'.

Web streaming giant Netflix on Tuesday, November 20, announced the name of some of the Indian stars who will be featured in Hindi version of upcoming 'Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle'.
As per media reports, Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff will lend their voices to characters in the upcoming venture. Netflix took to Twitter on Tuesday and made the announcements. The official Twitter handle of Netflix revealed that Abhishek will lend his voice for Bagheera, Kareena will be voicing soft and hypnotic voice of the python Kaa, Anil will be giving voice to bear Baloo, Madhuri will be voicing Nisha and Jackie Shroff will voice Shere Khan.

The fantasy drama directed by Andy Serkis will star Indian child actor Rohan Chand as Mowgli, Matthew Rhys as Lockwood and Freida Pinto as Messua.

The English version of the fantasy film features Christian Bale, who lent his voice as Bagheera and Cate Blanchett for Kaa. Director-actor Andy Serkis himself lent his voice for the character of Baloo, Benedict Cumberbatch to Shere Khan. The film is a spin off on Rudyard Kipling's 1864 classic 'The Jungle Book'. It narrates the story of a boy Mowgli wandering in an enchanting Indian forest with an entourage of his animal friends.
The film originally belonged to the Warner Bros and was bought by Netflix in July. As per media reports, is believed to be the web streaming giant's costliest purchase ever. 'Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle' will premiere globally on Netflix on December 7, 2018.
