Kazakhstan: Several detained by police during anti-China protests
On September 22, police has detained many Kazakh protestors as they participated in the most recent dissent against China's impact on the Central Asian Republic

On September 22, police has detained handfuls in Kazakhstan's two biggest cities as y participated in most recent dissent against China's impact on Central Asian Republic. Neighboring China is as of w perhaps biggest financial investor and tre partner. An arrangement to move various Chinese plants and industrial facilities to previous Soviet republic has been met with opposition from people.
Anti-China Protest
most recent rounds of protests were organized by supporters of Mukhtar Ablyazov, who is a fugitive banker currently living in France. protests were held on Saturday. Ablyazov is considered most critical of Kazakhstan's first president, Nursultan Nazarbayev. Nazarbayev gave his resignation last March in wake of running oil-rich country for nearly thirty years, yet holds clearing powers as he of security council and ruling Nur Otan party. Ablyazov’s political movements were seen as rical and extremist by Kazakhstan's authorities. Participation in those activities is a criminal offence. People Detained during protest
Bakytzhan Malybayev, first deputy chief of Nur-Sultan police, spoke to international media and said that on Saturday at 2 p.m. banned DCK in Kazakhstan was called upon to gar, people were asked to end protest, those were stubborn were taken into custody for rounds of questioning. Many protesters attempted an escape while police in. Some even got violent and smashed window of police bus. Many people also posted about protests on twitter with visuals.
