The KFC car
Crystal Lachance, reportedly a single mother, had been struggling to make ends meet. She used to walk for one hour from her house to the KFC store in Salem, Oregon in the USA. In her Facebook post, she wrote that she made the trek every weekend for a full year to support her 9-year-old son Rhys. But she does not have to do it anymore when her boss helped her get a car through KFC recognition programme. Lachance reportedly said, her boss had nominated her for the company's 'Kentucky Fried Wishes' program which rewards employees who worked hard above and beyond in the workplace. The car was waiting for her in the parking area with a big red bow. She said that the car will help her care for her son better and open up more chances for her in her own life.
