Khamenei accuses US of war and destruction, says ‘its presence must be stopped’
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei accused the United States of causing wars and destruction in West Asia saying its corrupt presence must be stopped.

Iran’s Supreme Leer Ayatollah Khamenei accused United States of causing wars and destruction in West Asia saying its corrupt presence must be stopped. 80-year-old religious leer said that elected governments won’t accept presence of US which has been involved in destruction and demolition of infrastructures in region.
"y were slapped last night, but such military actions are t eugh. corruptive presence of US in West Asian region must be stopped," said Supreme Leer during a televised dress after Iran attacked US bases in Iraq with dozens of ballistic missiles. Khamenei met people of Qom on anniversary of 1978 uprising which led to popular Iranian revolution toppling dictatorship of Shah Mohamm Reza Pahlavi.

Khamenei targets Israel
Supreme Leer said that US cut off Soleimani’s hand so Iran, in response, will cut ir legs off in region. Khamenei targeted Israel, a key ally of US in region, saying Iran’s main enemies include Washington and Zionist regime. Supreme Leer said military action is eugh to end “corrupt presence” of US in region. 80-year-old religious leer was furious after killing of top military leer Qassem Soleimani and h vowed to exact revenge “for criminals who bloodied ir foul hands with his blood”.

Before Soleimani was buried in Kerman, his hometown, Iran struck back at United States, hitting its bases in Iraq. US has t revealed number of casualties yet but Iran’s local media reports claim that around 80 people have been killed in attacks. Referring to retaliation, Khamenei said country has delivered 'slap in face' to United States.

Reactions from Iran started pouring in just after Tehran launched an offensive on US bases. Chief of Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Mohamm Bagheri warned US that Tehran will react with “stronger, more crushing, and broer” response if it tries any new “evil act”. Iranian Foreign Minister Jav Zarif said that Tehran took “proportionate measures” in self-defence under Article 51 of United Nations Charter.
