Unlike or pterosaur groups, se species are kwn primarily from terrestrial settings and ir ability to cross oceanic distances in flight me believe scientists y lived in inland environments. re are more than 100 kwn species of pterosaurs according to researchers. Due to ir large size and wide distribution across continents of rth America, South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe, only fragmentary remains have been discovered making new find especially vital.
