Ludicrous Rex: This 'Dinosaur' race is the weirdest thing on the Internet right now

Remember the dinosaurs running in 'Jurassic Park', what if they come to life? Well, the answer is there with the audience who gathered to witness a T-Rex race at the Emerald Downs Racetrack in Auburn, Washington. A video of the race featuring contendents gracing the track in T-Rex costumes is currently going viral on the internet.

As per media reports, the event which was organized for the employees of the Tri-Guard Pest Control dressed up as dinosaurs to participate in the competition. A video of the race was shared on Facebook on July 6. The hilarious clip which has more than 20 million views on Facebook, showed more than 30 competitors dressed in T-Rex costumes taking to the horse track.

Even after becoming extinct around 65 million years ago, the 'world's fastest T-Rex' title was given to an unnamed runner wearing number 13. As per media reports, this is an annual event held by the pest control agency. This is the third year the race is being held at the Emerald Downs. Interestingly, there is no winning prize for the race but just the title. 

People on the internet have been startled by the ludicrousness of the game, as the video is circulated widely on social media platforms. People have been inquiring to enter their names for participating in the race after the video went viral.
