She was last seen in a Tamil film Dasavatharam alongside Kamal Haasan.

movie makers of Pambattam took to ir social media account and anunced that actor has been roped in to portray a crucial role for movie. movie shall star Jeevan, ar popular Tamilian actor, in le role. In an interview with a leing media portal, moviemakers revealed that as soon as Mallika heard narration of script of movie, she got on board for role offered to her. moviemaker also revealed that though she was on a break for a few years, she was keen on doing a role that offered her eugh scope to perform. Furr talking about her role, filmmakers said that Mallika Sherawat would be playing a modern-day queen and her character would travel throughout script.

moviemakers of film Pambattam revealed that production team has an elaborate costume ensemble for Mallika Sherawat. y furr revealed that actor would be working out harder to attain a certain physique for herself as, in Pambattam, she would be seen doing some action scenes. Mallika will start shooting for her portions by end of this month. y will shoot scenes at locations in Hyderab, Bengaluru and also in South Africa.
