A prankster's coronavirus joke inside Moscow metro has landed him in jail where he could possibly be serving a five-year prison term. According to media reports, social media influencer named Karomatullo Dzhaborov pulled off a prank inside a metro rail in Moscow where he collapsed and pretended to have a seizure while his friend anunced to fellow travellers that he was suffering from coronavirus, causing m to panic.

 prank, which was t considered funny, led to man's arrest on February 8 on charges of hooliganism which carries a maximum sentence of five years in Russia.

As per reports, YouTuber is from Tajikistan and shared video on his social media ps on February 2. video led to his arrest and has w been removed from both his YouTube and Instagram handle. Reportedly, his two friends who participated in prank were also identified by authorities and were asked to leave Russia by interior minister.

Karomatullo's lawyer Alexei Popov, while talking to media, said that prank was pulled off to raise awareness among citizens. Popov furr ded that men in prank also shot or videos where y can be seen asking people if y were aware of coronavirus. Reportedly, y also shot videos in pharmacies that were selling masks at higher prices.

According to latest reports, coronavirus outbreak has claimed more than 1,100 lives and over 44,000 new cases have been confirmed in China as of February 11. country recorded its highest number of deaths in a single day since outbreak as it reported 108 deaths on Monday.
