In a news release by food giant, it read that board of directors determined that Steve Easterbrook displayed a sense of poor judgment by getting involved in a relationship. On or hand, Easterbrook told board of members, that he accepts committing a mistake. Easterbrook said in his mail to all employee which was publicly released by company on vember 3. refore, Easterbrook voluntarily gave up his position. company has t provided any or information on Easterbrook’s departure. According to reports, Brian Krzanich, who was CEO of Intel Corp resigned from his position after he found that Steve Easterbrook shared a consensual relationship with one of employees which breached policy of organisation.

Chris Kempczinski appointed as new CEO
Chris Kempczinski, who previously held position of President of McDonald's USA, was appointed as CEO, effective immediately and simultaneously will be part of board of directors. Also, Joe Erlinger has been named as President of McDonald's USA, who earlier held position of President of international operated markets.

This is t first time an employee has been fired for engaging in a relationship with employee violating company policy.
