Mohan Babu tweets about police arriving at his home to stall protest against AP government; Vishnu, Lakshmi Manchu praise father’s ‘bravery’

Mohan Babu fumed over the Andhra Pradesh Government’s failure to refund the fees of students of his Sri Vidyaniketan Educational Institutions. The veteran actor and ex-Member of Parliament even accused the AP Government of blocking his protest rally by arriving at his residence, following which ‘house arrest’ stories started doing the rounds.

Mohan Babu tweeted about police arriving at his house in Tirupati to stall his plan of a ‘peaceful rally.’  In ar tweet, he fumed about government t 'houring its commitment' of payment to tune of Rs 19 crore.

Actors Vishnu Manchu and Lakshmi Manchu also came out in support of ir far, calling him ‘fearless’ for ‘always fighting for justice of people’ and that he was a man one who couldn’t mess or be bully.

According to reports, re was ‘house arrest’ as was being said, and veteran, along with students of institution, h taken out a rally on Friday. However, police intervened to stall it while ar team of force gared at his residence too in Tirupati.

At protest, Mohan Babu h said that 25 per cent of  students in his institution receives free education with help of government, but dues have been piling on for last four-and-a-half years.

While speaking to journalists on sidelines of event, he slammed government for n-payment of dues despite writing to CM N Chandrababu Naidu. He also revealed that paying salaries of staff h also become difficult for m due to current situation.
