‘My Beautiful Wife’: Trump Thanks Melania For Her Support in US Election Victory Speech

US Elections 2024 : Republican candidate Donald Trump took to the stage on Wednesday at his campaign headquarters in Florida to claim victory. Surrounded by his wife, Melania, and their children, Trump thanked his family for their unwavering support throughout the campaign, singling out his wife for special praise.

"I also want to thank my beautiful wife, Melania, First Lady, who has the number one best-selling book in the country. Can you believe that? She works very hard to help people. So, I just wanted to thank her," Trump said, with the crowd cheering in response. 

The former president’s address came as he made the bold declaration that he had secured the election, though major networks had yet to officially call the race.

Melania Trump’s memoir, Melania, which was released earlier in 2024, became an instant bestseller, topping both Amazon and The New York Times' best-seller lists. 

The book offers an intimate look into her life, from her early years in Slovenia to her modeling career and experiences as First Lady of the United States. The memoir's success was highlighted by Trump during his speech, with the former president noting his wife’s achievements beyond her role in his campaign.
