Myanmar medics organise 'Civil Disobedience Movement' in protest against military coup

Aung San Suu Kyi's NLD has called for the immediate release of its State Counsellor and for Myanmar’s 2020 election results to be acknowledged by the military.

Although streets of country capital Yangon remained calm on February 2, people took to online platforms to show ir support for Suu Kyi. Many changed ir profiles pictures to red in support for arrested leer. Many ors lit candles or banging pots and pans in symbolic civil disobedience movement. campaign also stretched across doctors and health workers who asserted that y will t work under military, starting from Wednesday, February 3.
