According to reports by ANI, on hearing explosion sound, local residents hid in a basement. A conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in disputed Nagor-Karabakh region started during late September.

On October 4, Azerbaijan’s President, Ilham Aliyev said that country will t cease military action until Armenia withdraws its troops from disputed region. two former Soviet republics have been locked in a simmering conflict for deces over Nagor-Karabakh region, which is an ethnic Armenian enclave with Azerbaijan. Aliyev said, “Azerbaijan has one condition, and that is liberation of its territories. Nagor-Karabakh is territory of Azerbaijan. We must return and we shall return. My condition is following: let m withdraw ir troops, and confrontation will be stopped, but this should t be in words, but in deeds”.
