Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny released a video Monday detailing the conclusions of a new international investigation that alleges the Russian security service FSB was behind an attempt to poison him in August.

"I've found out who tried to kill me. I know where they live and where they work. I know their real names, I know their fake names, and I have photographs of them," said Navalny in the video.

Navalny fell into a coma in Siberia on August 20 and was later flown to Germany for treatment.

Several European laboratories concluded he had been poisoned by a chemical agent called Novichok, which has been tied to Russian military intelligence.

The new investigation was carried out by investigative outlets Bellingcat and the Insider, together with Der Spiegel and CNN. It said Navalny was poisoned by a group of individuals tied to Russian security forces.

The investigation lists the names of the suspects, discovered through open source documents including flight data for individuals who flew along the same itinerary and dates as Navalny before the poisoning took place.

"This is a story about a secret group of killers from the FSB, which includes doctors and chemists. It's about how they tried to kill me several times and once nearly killed my wife," Navalny says in the video.

"You won't hear about this on television, especially given that the one giving orders to this group is the Russian President Vladimir Putin."

Russian officials have consistently denied any complicity in the poisoning and have cast doubt on the veracity of the lab reports.
